In 2016 Founder/CEO of RAM Medical Innovations INC., Mubin Syed, MD, imagined a bifurcated sheath with one end being a sheath tip and the other being a long fixed wire integrated into the sheath.
The Mubin-Y Sheath (M-Y Sheath) for the prevention of amputations.
RAM Medical Innovations, INC. was spawned and since then 12 US, 3 EU and 2 Chinese patents relating to the technology behind the M-Y Sheath have been granted.
